Directly responsible for the supervision, direction and staffing of Lever
Brother's Corporate Control Systems Engineering Group. The position focused
on recommending to Senior Management control system requirements including
cost, schedule and project resource management. Ultimately responsible for
the selection, installation and implementation of all manufacturing and
packaging machinery control applications. Lever Brother's Company control
system manager during the installation of major projects including:
< $80MM powders process and packaging plant
< $15MM packing line project including 7 high speed powder detergent
packing lines utilizing line monitoring and reporting
< $40MM new bar soap LEVER 2000 process and 4 high speed soap packing lines
< $25MM automation upgrade of an existing bar soap factory.

related to new and existing manufacturing processes.
Senior Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer October 1980 to
April 1989
Responsible for microprocessor based control system applications. Software
expertise in both batch and continuous processes including the custom
design of dynamic operator interface graphics. Hardware responsibility for
specifying and selecting digital, analog and weigh scale instruments
interfacing to control system I/O's.
Senior control system engineer for a Greenfield $60MM soap plant.
Responsible for specifying, selecting, installing and developing the
configuration software for a 1.5 million dollar Fisher Provox distributed
control system. Database included 1500 I/O points, 40 batch programs and
200 custom designed graphics. Also designed, installed, implemented and
started up a number of packing lines and small batch processes using a PLC
based system. Other project related experience includes developing the
process and packing line interface software for Lever Brother's CIM
business computers.

2400 volt substations and motor control centers.
