Work Experience
2010 - 2011 inSkin Media - Flash Developer/Designer
This company created ads for many different platforms and formats. The workflow involved reciev -
ing a set of assets, we would then create a demo creative in photoshop to get sign off, this was
then built to measure in Flash using as2.0/as3.0 to create interactivity and animation, some web -
sites were xml driven some were used to collect data and almost all used video. Some of the most
fun projects were where bespoke microsites were required which were created from scratch in AS -
3.0. One of the most demanding parts of this role was the complexity of making ads to fit into to
publisher websites. After a few months I took the responsibility of training other developers and
designers, bug fixing and development of extra features including making components and making
stock flash movieclips to help streamline the creation of these products. One of the most important
parts of this job was managing my time and keeping the quality of work high. My experience of
both design and development I was often in contact with clients to help speed up the development
and sign off of campaigns. Over time I gained more responsibility and managed other members of
the team organising work and helping to maintain high standards across the development team.

2007 - 2010 TVF Communications - Designer/Developer
In this role I worked developing flash applications for web, desktop and mobile devices. I would
design and illustrate projects for digital and print, in addition to logos, icons, miscellaneous graph -
ics and animations.
This position allowed me to engage in various types of projects and enabled me to diversify my
skill set. My expertise in designing eLearning applications gave me the oppurtunity to be involved
strategy and learning model development. Although my main role was as a developer, I was heav -
ily involved in every facet of the creation of applications, from design and formatting, to choosing
the best platform, coding, testing and support. Many of the applications were created in AS2.0
which involved multiple classes, OOP framework and the translation and unification of classes
written by various developers.
I developed a methodical and practicle attitude to bug checking and problem solving through
adding or modifying functionality and clone creation.
Several projects relied on MDM Zinc for some functionality which I found to be a reasonable sub -
stitute to AIR.
The most recent projects were created in AS3.0 using several of the API’s available (tweenLite,
FLARToolkit and Papervision). These newer applications allowed me to further develop my know -
ledge of AS3.0.
My involvement in every part of the design and development of applications meant I had to de -
velop and maintain great relationships with everyone I worked with from Account Managers to
freelance developers in addition to clients.
