Dear Hiring Manager

I am applying for the Shop Help/Fork lift driver position. I have six years’ experience

driving both electric and propane forklifts and was OSHA certified in Florida to operate a

fork lift. I also have about 15 years’ experience operating various types of farm

equipment Tractors with loaders and grabbers bailing equipment etc. and am very safety

conscious. Though most of my career has been in management I am now looking for a

position that offers steady work where I can use my past experiences to help grow with

your company.

I am mechanically inclined and operating various forming equipment should not be a

problem.

We just finished bailing about 100 tons of hay and will have it in the barn this week so I

will be available for work on July 25.

I have been Fork Lift Certified while working in Materials Management and while

managing the coin center in Miami.

I am proficient in Microsoft operating systems 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT&XP Professional

and Vista Business as well as Microsoft Office: excel, word, outlook, and PowerPoint.

I have honed my communications skills in the real world, with written and oral

communications to senior management and am comfortable using either format.

I am eager to help advance the success of your company, and I am convinced that my

training and experiences will be a plus for you.
