Currently working as a Deputy Area Lead at the same time as a Designer for

Neutralization process section, handling 6 members to issue almost 2000

isometrics. The following responsibilities/activities should be executed

properly and accurately;

. Supervise Isometric generation for 19 models (6 modules and 13

stickbuilt)

. Ensures quality of isometrics before issuance to counterpart

. Monitors and closed all the model review tags and strictly followed

what the client requirements.

. Consistently monitoring design changes and reviewing its validity and

accuracy

. Properly handle all the rework isometrics and reviews it if the

comment is valid or not

. Manages all the issued isometrics by religiously updating the piping

utilities (isometric monitoring sheet-PLSR)

. Interact with counterpart with regard to other requirement needed by

the project

Our main objective as a designer is to produce quality isometrics that

considers accurate bill of materials which is economical and conforming to

safety and welfare of the personnel who will accomplish the build-up of the

plant and its future operation. To be able to have these goals achieved,

the following responsibilities are put into practice:

. Implement proper and accurate Pipe routings for a certain feed

water/process area scope.

. Accomplishment of the all the piping design concerns and inculcating

updated standards during the formulation of the Isometrics.

. Providing accurate and standard based information on the Isometrics

being produced.

. Greatly considers the impact of stress analysis on a certain system in

the pipe lines.

. Considering all the possible clashes/monitor comments/client requests

and implementing it on the model sufficing company and client

standards

. Performs specific routine such as checking of PLSR, RDB reports and

IDP clashing reviews.

. Regular updating of P and ID (Master versus working P and ID)

. Performs inter-discipline discussions to solve certain issues that

require attention from the specific discipline.

. Proper usage of the software such as PDS, SmartPlant, Microstation,

InterGraph etc.

. Act upon on those rework Isometrics before it will be sent to the

fabricators

. Verifies all the necessary squad check if it conforms with the agreed

design and lay-out of each discipline.

In this project, I have worked primarily on the fire water supply of the

plant, specifically focusing on the pipe rack that lies on the sleeper way

area, producing approximately 170 Isometrics in two months time.

BP Operation Canadian Crude

Houston Scope, USA

Another big project of Fluor which able to produce approximately 5,000

Isometrics (GOHT area alone).It consists of other areas such as 12PS and

OSBL, which, the detailed engineering from the Philippines is expected for.

My assignment is in the process area of GOHT scope handling process fluids

from the stripper towers.

I handled different equipment like three exchangers, two stripper reflux

pumps and horizontal tanks that making the process fluids be sent in the

pipe rack in good condition. Doing the same duties stipulated in my initial

project with Fluor, I am able to produce good quality isometrics ahead of

what the schedule is.
