Project II - Nutritional supplement products are provided as a benefit of

Texas Medicaid through the Texas Health Steps (THSteps) Comprehensive Care

Program (CCP) for client's age 20 years and younger. Provision of these

products is subject to medical necessity requirements and, in some

instances, prior authorization. The USDA has mandated that, effective

October 1, 2009; reimbursement should be coordinated so that Medicaid is

Project III - Texas Medicaid enrollment guidelines currently require

provider practicing at each group provider location that has its own TPI.

Consequently, a single performing provider is required to maintain multiple
