performing User Interface testing of multiple user-oriented features with
complex workflows. Performing Regression, Usability, Integration,
Compatibility, Error Handling, Web Security, Android (iPod Touch, iPad,
iPhone) testing. Testing/Updating Oracle/Postgres Databases, developing SQL
queries. Played Build/Release Management role and performed Using Perl on
UNIX, run/updated scripts to extract files from VSS, and then deploy to
either staging or production servers.

Tested a subset of security leak incident management console web-based

Logged bugs into bugzilla and verified fixes. Detail oriented and always

Tested account creation, image uploads, album organization, look and feel
consistency and cross-browser functionality. Developed and maintained

NECHO Application Systems Support - State Farm Insurance (SQA Analyst, Mar

Tested NECHO - a core system that integrates Auto, Life, and Fire & Health
insurance and is used by State Farm Insurance agents to provide services to
the customers through the quoting system and other facilities.

Used Dragon Designer, an object-oriented application, for configuring work
flow, product definition, object model and interfaces to legacy/third party
systems. Effectively, agents can now directly feed customer information,
select relevant coverage, surcharges, and discounts and obtain the
calculated premium.
Auto Sale Enhancement (ASE), State Farm Insurance (Mainframe Developer, Jan
'08 - Sep '08)
Merged two different applications into a new rating engine for calculating
premiums using information about coverage's, accidents, violations,
surcharges and discounts of vehicle. Developed a 'Consumer Report Ordering'
checkpoint for generating reports on the accidents and violations recorded
in the DMV office database. This project provides better quotes, coverage's
and options to clients.
Canadian Registration, State Farm Insurance (Mainframe Developer, Jan '07 -
Dec '07)
Developed new Registration modules for allowing Canadian customers to
register, request quotes, purchase policies and pay bills online.
Introduced new JCLs, DB2 tables and COBOL modules into the system and
changed the design specification of the existing Jobs module.

Developed & tested a new Rating Engine merging Auto and Fire into common P
& C processes, thus streamlining and improving the processes used for
providing pricing strategies and calculating auto/homeowners premiums.

Redesigned the application to use the new rating changes and provided
underwriter support. Incorporated the relevant changes into claims
