•Provide on-going strategizing, leadership, management and direction for the
New York State Fair. Scope of responsibility includes maintaining a focus on
brand building, marketing, communication strategy, operations, budgets,
departments, facilities management and development, and problem solving.
Negotiated/rented all Fair space and booths and coordinated logistics. Liaise
with corporate sponsors, midway management, food, beverage and novelty
vendors. Direct and oversee Agricultural Department, Buildings and Grounds,
Security, and Events crews and staff. Marketed various Fair events and activities
through a wide range of advertising, Internet, website, property signage,
brochures and the development and distribution of a monthly calendar of events.
Function as Fair Director in the absence of the Director.

•Increased Fair revenue from $8M to $15M over a 13 year period, through the
development and execution of strategic, long-range planning for building
modifications, renovations, new builds, and general clean up of site.
•Broke the million marker in attendance for two years
•Collaborated in developing a program to capitalize on use of Fair space year
around. Market, negotiate, schedule, and lease Fair facility space for all of
season events and shows including antique, gun, computer, craft, home and
car shows.
•Coordinated with various corporate fundraising committees to orchestrate a
variety of fundraisers for the Galisano Children's Hospital.
•Oversaw major construction projects including new buildings, rest room facilities
and pavilions. Increased handicapped accessibility throughout the Fair.
Manged $6.6 million in new roofing projects over two years.
•Served as main coordinator of all Governor's Day events. Liaised with state
legislature members to arrange VIP visits during the Fair.
Additional experience as a Goverment Liaison for State Senator John A. DeFrancisco's office,
Administration Officer for the city of Syracuse Common Council; Clerk in the Onondaga County
Clerks Office; and Security Inventory Control Auditor for the New York State Department of Motor
Vehicles.
