Projects
. Ported a standard Linux kernel on the VAPRES partially reconfigurable
embedded system. It also includes integrating the VAPRES runtime manager
as a kernel module in a soft-core processor operating system on a FPGA for
hardware multithreading.
UFL, Gainesville Apr '11
. Performance Comparison and Cost-Bene?t Analysis for Superscalar, SMT &
VLIW Processors. UFL, Gainesville Nov '10
. Implementation of 1-D Time-Domain Convolution in VHDL and creating a
custom circuit that exploits significant amount of parallelism.
UFL, Gainesville Nov '10
. Developed a Fault Tolerant Distributed System, on the Python Platform.
The distributed network implemented was based on the widely used "Chord
Protocol". UFL,
Gainesville Nov '10
. Real Time Emulation of Non-Linear Electrical And Electronic Circuits on
An Embedded Processor
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, April '10
Mathematical model of the electrical system, under test, is used. These
systems involve highly critical tasks. The project also involved the
development of a multitasking environment using real time open source
operating system so that less critical tasks can co-exist without
affecting the real time performance of the models.
. Alternative Mouse using Accelerometer
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, April '10
Interfaced an accelerometer with an AVR microcontroller using ADC and used
an open loop system to control the mouse co-ordinates depending on the
tilt of the accelerometer.
. Embedded System For Wireless Data acquisition and Process Control using
Bluetooth Technology.
Sardar Patel Institute
of Technology, April '09
An asynchronous two way wireless communication between, the data
acquisition system mounted on, the Robot and a Computer was implemented,
and MATLAB was used for data acquisition and analysis.
. Water level Controller Scheme
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, April '09
Developed using Infra red sensor and servo motor. The servo motor
controlled the opening of the nozzle. The level of water was measured
using the sensor and the amount of flow of water was controlled using
servo motor.
