and commissioning of 3 no of 132/11 kV substation (NWGR, EMRD & FCTY)

PROJECTS.

DEWA CE/468A/2007, 132kV Shunt Reactor Supply, Installation,Testing And

Commissioning at 3 no of Substations ( GREENS, BOHERA & EHLS)

FEWA E03/09(02) projects - This project consisting of Supply, Installation and

commissioning of 2 no of 132/11kV and 1no of 132/33/11kV substation (AL-

SAWAN, Al-NAIMIYA & NAKEEL OLD TOWN).

MILESTONE PROJECTS

A commissioning team member of 132/11kV High Voltage Substation for the NAd

al –Sheba Race Course at Meydan and that project won the best power project

of the year 2011 in U.A.E from MEED Quality of Awards for Projects conducted

in Kingdom of Bahrain.

Some other 132/11kV DEWA Substation projects were Lagoon, DICB, SUFOUH,

ICRB, Al – Barari, Autodrome etc...

Worked as a Site Electrical Engineer in Manama Road 132/11 kV substation

under DEWA CE/288A Contract –Responsibilities including planning day to day

activities, arranging materials, power and control cable laying termination,

supporting erection team for switchgear and control panels, follow up with

subcontractors and manufacturers.

2. Transformers and Electricals Kerala Ltd (TELK), Cochin, Kerala– India

(Since September 07’ till August 08’)

This is a Transformer Manufacturing company and Specialized in the

design, Manufacturing and Testing n of Power Transformers up to 315MVA .

Accountabilities:

(Testing Department)

Doing all Routine Tests on the transformer at the different stages of its manufacturing.

Testing Oil Samples at the laboratory.

Doing Calibration, Switch Settings and Gradient Settings on OTI/ WTI meters.

Assisting senior engineers in the power transformer design works.

Preparing Auto-Cad Drawings as per the design data sheet.

Factory Inspection with senior engineers in order to check the correctness and quality

of work.

3. 110kV Substation Under Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd( KSEB),Cochin, Kerala– India.

(Since September 06’ till August 07’)

Accountabilities:

110kV Substation In charge.

Keeping Daily Power Consumption Details by the consumers and prepairing monthly

power consumption and reporting to the Assistant Executive Engineer.

Doing Maintenance works at substation, inspecting the 110/11kV Transformer, Gas

Circuit and Vacum Circuit Breakers.

Supervising 4nos of KSEB Staffs.

Taking necessary safety measures before issuing work permit to the sub contractors for

maintenance on the power lines.
