RE: Commercial Asset Manager – Denver as seen on Resume Book 360
Dear Hiring Manager:
With this letter and enclosed resume, I am submitting my application for the above-referenced position. With my
extensive background in all aspects of commercial real estate asset management and other related core skills, I will
create immediate and long term substantial value for the organization.
In my latest asset management role, my team and I increased the value of a portfolio of assets by $60 million. The
portfolio was composed of ten assets, which together are 1.4 MSF of office & retail in the front range of Colorado.
We increased the value from $110 million in 2001 to $170 million in 2007. We sold 8 of the 10 assets before mid-
2007. The last two assets were sold in 2008 & 2009. In this role, I lead team efforts on five lines of business: (1)
Asset Management, (2) Leasing, (3) Property Management (4) Asset Redevelopment and (5) Dispositions. Our
value building success was attributable to seven key areas:
1. Acquiring at a Reasonable Basis
2. Appropriately Structured Capital Stack
3. Leasing
4. Making appropriate Physical Improvements
5. Highly responsive and customer focused property management
6. Building positive relationships with key tenant decision makers
7. Capital Markets
I have considerable experience and a successful track record in virtually all the asset management areas you
indicated in the “Responsibilities” and “Requirements”. If you agree that my experience and qualifications are a
good match for this position, then I am the candidate with whom you should speak. Please contact me at 720–
320–8033 to schedule an interview to discuss, in detail, the contributions I can make to your organization. Thank
you for your consideration, and I look forward to your call.
Sincerely,
Paul Luber
