To Whom it May Concern;
I would like to introduce myself with the attached resume for reference. I graduated from
a Radiologic Technologist College with an Associate Degree in 1994. During my 17 years in this
field I specialized in Mammography. Although I did spend some time in Diagnostic Imaging for
seven years. Currently I have been crossed trained into Bone Density.
Throughout my career in Mammography I was the lead technologist in several facilities.
I was responsible for all aspects of ACR, MQSA, QA/QC, annual FDA and State inspections. As
these were facilities that needed to upgrade to the new world, I was able to expand the
departments in a more friendly Diagnostic atmosphere. With the help from the community,
auxiliary, and administration each of these departments grew from the basic screening/diagnostic
facility to an interventional department. Some of these departments were on the edge, with their
inspections to be in major violations. I was able to go through, and revamp all their books,
outcome audits, and policy & procedures to bring their Breast Care Centers up to standards.
I took time out as a traveling mammography technologist to learn how other faculties
functioned, and expand my knowledge in different types of equipment. During this time I was
trained in Pac’s and Digital Mammography. I am also a dedicated Breast Sonographer,
experienced in several types of biopsies, along with Stereo-tactic.
In September 2010 I had back surgery and left my prior position for a recovery period.
During this break in employment I have been a consultant for various new women’s centers to
help them in the process of ACR accreditation.
I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my education and experience will be
helpful to you. I look forward to possibly arranging an interview with you. Thank you for your
time and consideration.
Sincerely,
THERESA LEGER
