. IRDA Training

Completed the IRDA training to learn about the Insurance industry.

. Final Year Project

Project Title: "Sensor to digital information transmission using a

microcontroller"

Description: Designed a Smart Fridge that scans the items of the fridge

using NFC (Near Field Communication) tags as well as Infrared sensors for

different types of items present in the fridge, and further uploads the

respective data obtained from the hardware components onto the server with

the help of a GPRS module and a microcontroller. Therefore, at any point of

time one can access the contents of the fridge via a Smartphone with an

internet connection and make the grocery list without having to leave out

or buy less of any needed item.

. Industrial Training (Trained at SIEMENS Ltd)

Project Title: "Building Management Systems"

Description: Understood the working of automated systems used in building

for comfort as well as security purposes such as HVAC systems, Fire

Detection Alarm system-FIRE FINDER XLS in particular, and CCTV systems.

Case studies were reviewed to understand the calculations of determining

the exact requirements. Installation process was understood.

. Second Year Project

Project Title: "Free Space Optics"

Description: Designed wireless and antenna free communication technology

that uses light propagating in free space. This was established with the

help of LED at the transmitter end and a photodiode at the receiver end.

Data transmission takes place within the line of sight and with the use of

lasers can be used over long distances without laying down any cables. This

ensured a more secure way of data communication.

. First Year Project

Project Title: "Tower Construction and Pre-fabricated materials"

Description: A theoretical study was done on the steel manufacturing

industry where specifically different parts were manufactured for

construction of towers and prefabricated buildings.
