ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Supersonic Application of Discrete Co-Flow Jet, (Senior Design)
• Designed, modeled, and performed computational fluid dynamics to analyze the effects of
employing a switchable co-flow jet mechanism into the airfoil of a supersonic transport jet. The
design allows for a supersonic-capable plane with extremely short take-off and landing distances,
eliminates the need for slats and flaps, obtains a higher L/D, and greater possible angles of attack
than conventional supersonic planes.
Improved Range DC-10
• Redesigned the DC-10 for maximum range through an iterative optimization procedure, yielding
a 24% increase in range.
EXPERIENCE
Greens keeper, Charleston Springs South Golf Course, Millstone, NJ, 5/2006 – 8/2012
• Worked with other greens keepers to maintain golf course and hiking trails
• Used and performed simple maintenance on landscape machinery
