Objectives

I have been a Public Works supervisor for 2 years. In 2009, I went to the

Maintenance Division for all of the departments. I have 13 years of

combined experience in the Maintenance Division and in Street Construction

along with many other certifications and licenses.

Experience

Public Works Maintenance (August 07' - July 13)

City of Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO)

. Drove Class 7 Kenworth single axle dump truck with trailers and snow

plow

. Implemented procedures: did preventive maintenance; identifying and

prioritizing needs

. Hired and trained employees; assisted with a staff of 7 full time and

part time employees

. Managed daily operations of street and storm water departments

. Visited sites throughout the city to evaluate needs and determine cost

effective methods to accomplish projects within the budget

. Worked alongside City Engineer and the City Inspector to help develop

the Downtown Improvement Project

. Supervised; road right-of-ways, drainage, road maintenance,

repair/rehabilitation of street sewers, and water main breaks

. Prepared Contingency Plan for winter weather emergency and acted as a

field operations supervisor during emergencies

. Prepared SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for: snow removal, crack

sealing, pot hole patching, and street sweeping

. Performance Appraisals on Street Division Employees

. Researched and purchased higher grade equipment. I also over seen the

service and/or repaired equipment

. Developed and implemented a training program for employees to attain a

Commercial Drivers License
