Applied Fiber - Havana, FL

Department leader charged with running the R&D engineering team. Tasked with initial design, process engineering for

manufacturing, and quality control of a line of high tensile strength composite cable solutions. Secondary sales

responsibility to a line of synthetic fiber sailboat rigging to the maritime racing community. Direct contact with OEM,

distributors, and end customers to sell, service, and support each newly launched line. Responsible for complete project

management activities including budgeting, milestones, and ISO 9001 quality objectives/documentation. Member of the

management committee, involved in setting company goals and financial targets. Further acted as purchasing manager and

agent for the engineering department controlling shipping, post processes, and on-time delivery to meet project schedules.

2004-2005 Technical and Sales Director

CENTEK Industries, Inc. - Thomasville, GA

Direct technical and sales responsibility for national and international sales. Charged with growing the company’s sales

of MYCELX products from the environmental marine sector to commercial and industrial markets. Signed up five

international distributors and four regional distributors in the first two months. Responsible for writing and placing articles

in major trade magazines as well as making presentations to key customers and environmental organizations.

MYCELX Technologies Corporation - Gainesville, GA

Director of Operations and Marketing 2002-2004

Served as Engineering Project Manager for the manufacturing facility in Gainesville. Responsibilities included facilities

maintenance, contractor supervision, oversight of design changes and construction projects to both the facility and

manufacturing process. Operations duties included process design, equipment design, production and shipping support,

process equipment needed to fabricate these products. Duties included product seminars, technical training and end-user

service calls. Writing of instruction manuals, machine design, and chemical formulations, as well as quality control and

process engineering of the products under my supervision were duties I performed. Awarded a patent and directly

responsible for bringing a number of successful products through the design phase and to the marketplace.
