I n te r ests
Working on cars and making things with my hands is my passion. My introduction to
automobiles occurred in Jamaica when I was a young boy; I became fascinated
immediately. I ran my own business for seven years in Jamaica, at which time I decided
to move to the U.S. and pursue my education goals. Before I enrolled at GTC, I attended
Cornwall Automotive Training Institute where I received my Certificate in Automotive
Technology. I would service, maintain, detail, and repair cars all day long at school, only
to turn around and do it all over again in my spare time. I enjoy helping others out,
whether it is teaching fellow students or coworkers about troubleshooting automotive
problems or offering my abilities in repairing automotive problems when I am able.
Currently, I am enjoying the new knowledge I am gaining within the MTT Program. It is a
challenge which I have fully embraced. I am looking forward to what lies ahead for me
professionally within this new career path I have chosen.
