Professional Experience – Project Manager Pakistan Navy

As the Project Officer (i.e. Project Manager), directed and led various R & D

projects from their inception through completion (i.e. initiating, planning,

executing, monitoring & controlling and closing) for Pakistan Navy hence saving

millions of dollars by exploring and utilizing indigenous resources.

Conceived potential R & D projects for Pakistan Navy, participated in

development of business case and negotiated with the technical firms for

subsequent development utilizing initiative, extensive communication, profound

technical knowledge & negotiation skills. Actively participated to get the financial

approval from higher authorities at the Naval Headquarters.

Research Work & Publication

Presented a technical research paper in 1 st International Conference on

Computer, Control & Communication (IC4) organized by NUST and sponsored

by IEEE, Higher Education Commission (HEC), & Pakistan Council of Scientific

and Industrial Research (PCSIR) in 2007, titled Implementation of Genetic

Algorithms for Parameter Estimation of Linear Time I nvariant Systems. The

paper was based on modeling of an unknown system using the genetic algorithm

approach.

Technical paper was published in technical journal “Technocrat – Journal of

Science & Technology” with ISSN # 1728-5690 in 2008.
