Work Experience -
Maintenance:
Two years oversight of three federal buildings for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA). Performed preventive and corrective maintenance involving the latest
technological equipment, which resulted in one the buildings receiving the LEED Gold award.
Equipment maintained includes AHU’s, cooling towers, frequency drive controllers, motion
activated light sensors, restroom facilities, and normal and coded commercial door locks, etc.
Construction:
Offering 20 years of construction and maintenance experience which includes
troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving problems with new and used dwellings, as well as
residential and commercial construction of new structures. Duties included reading blueprints,
building and constructing wooden and metal frames for industrial structures on a multi-million
dollar project. Possess knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and Transportation Workers
Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
Self-Employment Experience:
Residential and commercial maintenance, professional painter, carpentry, plumbing, and
minor electrical. Experienced with a wide variety of power and hand tools.
Dispensing Technician:
Responsible for diagnosing problems with commercial dispensing equipment, installation
of new and removal of old equipment. Provide oversight of warehouse inventory and service
trucks. Perform shipping, receiving and maintenance of service vehicles.
Pipe Fitting:
Performed duties as a first class pipe fitter assistant. Responsibilities included measuring,
cutting, and preparation of threaded groove and regular pipe for setting. Squaring and leveling to
weld or install pipe according to prints.
Boiler Maker/Structural Fitter:
Position required reading blueprints to build and construct boiler by means of flying in
parts, bolting, fitting and welding together in accordance with prints.
Certifications -
Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC), 2nd class certification, which
includes removing and installing compressors, taps and refrigerants in refrigerated machines.
Education -
Graduated from Monticello High School in 1985, Monticello, MS. Three years of trade
school consisting of carpentry.
