Responsible for leading and managing the provision of information technology services including network and server

management, desktop support and help desk. I manage the corporate facilities and office services either directly or

through subordinate administrators across 5 divisions located in Canada and USA. Implemented business process

control and documented these processes.

Selected achievements

Co-Managed deployment of $2.5mill JD Edwards ERP application. Partnered with functional business units

and vendors to develop specifications and requirements. Facilitated communications between internal and

external stakeholders. Served as the primary liaison for issues and obstacle resolution. Oversaw product

configuration, testing and deployment.

Supported a heterogeneous environment of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 servers; Linux and Ubuntu

servers; Windows XP and Windows 7/8 PCs; IBM Blade servers; VMware Servers; IBM AS400/iSeries;

Cisco based LANs, WANs and VPNs; Barracuda firewalls; internal and external Web sites; and HP 4400

Set up and maintained corporate intranet. Integrated 3 divisions to Corporate head office for sharing of information from

servers running various platforms. Setup and managed Progress database to use ERP QAD on a Dec Alpha server. I

managed a team of 10 IT analysts for implementing programming changes to the system. Provided support for U.S

division that were running on an AS/400 system.

Spearheaded infrastructure renovation and implemented system that improved reliability, enhanced efficiency

and established scalability for future growth.

Initiated implementation of EDI with major clients, which increased levels of office automation and eliminated

time lost incurred by keypunch errors and lost faxes.

Instituted single data entry into our ERP system, automating process that supported vital functions and

included distribution, MRP and inventory control.
