PROJECT EXPERIENCES

Senior Software Engineer, Uffaq Technologies Karachi December 2008 to date

I am working in different in-house projects [Linux Kernel 2.4, Apache

2, OpenSSL, OpenLDAP, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, Joomla CMS, Drupal,

C/C++, Java]

I am also working closely with Graphic Design Department and have a

good knowledge of Adobe PhotoshopCS/CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS3, and

Dreamweaver.

o LDAP Control Panel: Worked in the product of the company to facilitate

the directory service of the corporate services and devices. [Suse

Linux, PHP, OpenLDAP, MySQL]

o Consultation and Support: also worked in the Support and consultation

department to provide the open source migration to the corporate

business and involve in Disaster Recovery Planning. During the

projects, gain knowledge of Mambo CMS, AAA Server (Radius), OpenAFS,

Kerberos.

o Secure Cube Network Appliance

I involved in the full product development cycle of the product of

Uffaq Technologies to facilitate SSL VPN solutions and their

framework. Worked on development of the following subsystems of the

appliance:

. Administration Graphical User Interface. Developed a complete

Administrative configuration GUI of Secure Cube Networks S3

Appliance . It comprehensively covers the administrative options

available to the administrator.

. PKI-Public Key Infrastructure Engine to facilitate the security of the

appliance.

. Reverse Proxy Engine

. Authentication, Authorization and Access Control Framework with LDAP

support.

. Configuration and Administration Backend for the appliance

. A GUI front-end to facilitate an integrated interface for all the VPN

resources. Developed various extensions for Secure Web Interface of

Secure Cube Networks S3 Appliance .

I also led the team to develop administration text-based interface

that provides administrative options as in Administrative GUI using

C++, nCurses library.

I involved in Analysis, design and Development of LindowsOS

and Searching of AVL tree of data of size in GBs.
