PROJECT PRESENTATION:
. Presented a mini-project in "PHAZOR 2K12" at SNS College of
Technology, Coimbatore.
. Project title: RAILWAY ACCIDENT CONTROL USING GSM.
. Description: On arrival of the train before 1.5 km, The GSM alerts the
nearby Railway crossings gate control room and Station. In addition,
when the train crosses every signal, it alerts the Loco pilot by
energizing alarm circuit in the cabin. Project done using PIC Micro
controller.
MAIN PROJECT:
. Project title: A PROTOTYPE OF MULTILEVEL CONVERTER TO MITIGATE LOAD
CURRENT HARMONICS IN
DISTRIBUTION NETWORK.
. Description: The harmonics that are produced in the load side can
be mitigated by injecting harmonics using
STATCOM with 120 phase shift. ATMEGA168 was used for providing the gate
pulse to the STATCOM. Non-linear loads are used in the system.
