annual cost reduction project for global manufacturing operations, test, materials management, repair, logistics & fulfillment.

• Analyzed complex global operational supply chain strategies, defined and managed a global cross functional team of

10 Project Managers in the execution of a global outsource manufacturing optimization project to consolidate global outsource

manufacturing sites by > 50% over a 24 mos. time period.

• Partnered with the Corporate Office of M&A Integration and Divesture Management to project manage the integration of

acquired companies supply chain organizations, processes, and systems into the appropriate Motorola businesses while achieving

post acquisition cost savings targets defined in the acquisition business cases.

• Led and executed M&A due diligence for supply chain management on acquisition target companies. Prepared and

reviewed M&A due diligence summary reports with the executive staff, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and

threats associated with the acquisition targets supply chain organization and business model.

• Planned and executed post acquisition supply chain integration strategies for multiple acquisitions, prepared integration

project plans and managed multiple cross functional project teams in the execution of the integration projects, on schedule and on

budget.

• Established and led commodity management team for Power Supplies which achieved net savings of $1.5M in 2000 by

reducing supplier base by 50% through elimination of small niche suppliers and spend alignment with strategic suppliers.

• Led manufacturing site surveys/audits of potential suppliers of strategic commodities, in North America and Asia.

• Established and led manufacturing and quality continuous process improvement teams in internal and third party

manufacturing sites resulting in measurable improvements in production yield rates and product throughput and reductions in scrap
