I currently work in conjunction with the state, local municipalities, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure

that all ALDOT specifications are being met as required on federally funded construction projects. Including

maintaining a log of all procurement items to be paid for in the project. Including ensuring that all BMP

methods are in place on site and not in violation of any environmental policies, as well as making sure that

soil density, asphalt and required concrete testing methods are carried out properly and within state specs.

Designer at U.S. Pipe & Foundry

October 2008 - February 2013 (4 years 5 months)

I draw the installation plans in conjunction with the required specifications and addendums that show where

new ductile iron pipe is to be constructed. Working closely with our salesman, inside sales representatives,

project managers and contractors I also produce the working BOM needed to ensure that the proper materials

and quantities are ordered. I also provide the highest level of customer service and client satisfaction.

CAD Technician at Alabama Power Company

June 2008 - October 2008 (5 months)

Working closely with the surveying manager, crew chief and various departments I drew the surveys showing

transmission lines, distribution stations and the boundaries of newly acquired properties. I also utilized the

latest GIS and GPS technology to help ensure that the drawing information was accurate and correct.

Civil Designer at LAI Engineering

February 2007 - March 2008 (1 year 2 months)

I assisted in the civil land planning process including site layout, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer

systems design and land permitting. Working closely with many different national municipalities and the

Army Core of Engineers, I also assisted in providing the due diligence needed in order to begin construction.

In addition I provided field support as needed to aid in site assessments to ensure that there were no

environmental infractions and that proper BMP plans were utilized.
