PROJECTS Senior Interdisciplinary RC Car Project- Designed and built a small RC car to compete in a

race. Worked with subgroups to develop the frame, drive train, suspension, steering, brakes,

EE and CPE systems.

Senior Project- Independently designed and fabricated a fuel cell powered remote

controlled car. Semester long project utilizing a PEM fuel cell and RC components.

Steam Boat Project- Designed and built several prototypes for a small steam powered boat

race. Thermodynamic calculations were done on the best performing boat.

Bridge Project- A small bridge was designed and built using a few sheets of paper, string

and popsicle sticks. The bridge that was made tied for first in a strength competition.

Position Control Project- Helped design a system to control the position of a pneumatic

piston using a rotary potentiometer.
