In the Accounting Department I review and verify the accuracy of all invoices, receiving reports, and

purchase orders while working with vendors and other departments to assure timely payment and to resolve

discrepancies or disputes. Also, I am responsible for maintaining and reconciling the subsidiary records to the

general ledger in accordance with company policy and procedures. My position requires me to provide

complete and accurate financial records and reports in accordance with established Cooperative Accounting

Policies and Procedures, thus in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Finally, I am

required to work in cooperation with external auditors for year-end processes.

While a customer service representative I was in the new business, collection, and billing departments. The

tasks that I was responsible for ranged from starting the process of connecting power for new cooperative

members, quoting required security deposits, handling issues and answering questions for customers about

billing, payment arrangements, transferring service, as well as disconnecting service. Also, I worked with

processing service orders, discussing tasks with consumers over the phone or in person, and negotiating fees,

dates, and other issues with customers in order to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
