graduating with my Bachelors degree in Business. Throughout my career I have been

focused on working within and excelling at a trade. Although working within a trade has

been very fulfilling, graduating with a Bachelors degree has opened various portals that

were not available before. Management is the next step for my career advancement desires.

When I began my college journey and even before I have had the desire to advance to an

executive manager position, and entering a sales position will provide the experience I need

to achieve this dream.

Experience:

Research and Development Welder/Technician, Stoody Company, 2010-Present. Assisted

product development engineering staff, to develop new products within the product line, as well

as refining current products. Metallographic sample preparation as well as testing is also an

integral part of the position. Expanding customer interaction within the design and manufacture

of application specific products has been the most rewarding part of this position.

Quality Technician/Welder, Stoody Company, 2008-2010. Within this position there were various

testing methods executed, in order to ensure that all of the manufactured products met the

industry standards. Stoody produces various welding consumables for hard facing and hard

surfacing. The main focus of a quality technician is to take every product and weld it before it is

fabricated as well as at the end of a production run. Testing all returned goods was also a very

integral part of the position.

Welder/Fabricator, for Labor Finders of Kentucky, 2006-2008. Worked as a contractor providing

on-site fabrication and welding services for machine and assembly line installation. Assisted the

engineering staff in various successful launches of different projects.

Welder/Fabricator for Traughber Mechanical Services, 2000-2006. Worked in a shop

environment, as well as, completing projects on site for various factories. Started in the first few

years as an apprentice, before moving into a leadership role in early 2004, at which time a more

independent role was adopted.
