Youth leader of The Light of the World Church – Santa Maria, CA
Leader
As an active member and volunteer of this non profit organization, I have held various positions all leading up to
youth leader. I have helped to mentor youth from ages 14 21, and coordinating leader for numerous community
projects. The activities that consisted as youth leader was coordinating selling food for church benefit, carwashes
and help coordinate church related activities with the Pastor of The Light of the World.
The Light of the World Volunteer Construction Work – Santa Maria, CA
Assistant Project Manager
As a volunteer worker I began in assisting in various different activities to build an 8,000 square foot home from
the foundation to furnishing. I began with working in demolition of the two houses that consisted of the lot
where the house was built and then to laying the concrete foundation. I then began with the wood framing, to
electricity, plumbing lines, drywall and clay roofing. After these tasks I began to help getting estimates from A/C
units to tile for the house. When other youth would come to help they would repot to me and we would work
together daily.
Tutor of Children from 5 14 of The Light of the World – Santa Maria, CA
Tutor
As a member of The Light of the World Church I had the privledge to tutor young children who have low income
and difficulty with English with their homework. Myself and three others would help tutor 25 children 2 days
every week and provided a fun helpful enviroment for these children.
Remodeling of Houses Santa Maria, CA
Assistant Project Manager
Being familiar with the construction business I helped my father remodel 2 homes and helped with deciding
every move made. We did landscaping, framing, plumbing, roofing, window replacement, floor refinishing,
electrical work and receiving estimates from several different sources. I helped oversee every decision made and
saw successful remodeling’s
