Lead Developer

RFL Inventory and Retail Information System (RIS) is the two customs build

data warehouse reporting applications which were developed in Oracle as

back-end and Java/JSP/HTML as front-end. These systems maintain and report

every day inventory, sales and days of supply to Retail team. It involves

loading of data from various other systems like SAP, EDW into Oracle. The

ETL logics were developed using ODI. It involves extensive calculation

processing and drill-down reports with Charts. These applications are very

critical for retails planners every day decision-making process and used in

executive-team reporting to CEO.

Parametric Fast Access (PFA) on the other hand is high volume (100s of

billion rows) and high rate (10s of millions of transaction/sec) data

loading and accessing project. One of the challenging projects I was

involved, it's developed in Oracle Exadata 11gR2 and successfully

implemented in all Manufacturing sites to help test engineers to verify

every product that is manufactured in each sites. This is one of the

critical applications for the delivery of fault free product.

. Participate in information-gathering sessions to determine and assess

project requirements, identifying best-fit architecture solutions in line

with enterprise data warehouse architectural standards.

. Develop end-to-end data warehouse application for RFL Inventory, RIS

(Retail Information System) and Manufacturing systems (PFA - Parametric

Fast Access).

. Architect above 3 systems with Oracle 11gR2 in Exadata and non-Exadata

platform.

. Work closely with the DBA in the design of the logical and physical data

model design for Data Warehouse Schemas.

. Develop and deploy ETL solution for Data Mart to transfer data from one

system to another system and lead the development team for custom

reports.

. Handle Ticket system Espresso (Production) and Radar (Development) for

issues and bug fixing and allocate them to appropriate teams.

Retail DOS is the first retail application developed in oracle data

warehouse for Retail team. This is custom build report to integrate all SAP

feeds into oracle and provide information to retail planners of inventory,

open orders, sales, forecasts and in-transit units. This data mart's ETL

logics were created in OWB.

PDCA Data loading is very high data volume project started with Apple. This

is the first iPhone data were shipped from OEM sites to US territory to

load near time manufacturing data.

. Developed end-to-end RDOS (Retail Days of Supply) application for Retail

team

. Developed high volume data loading and processing PDCA application (for

first iPhone) for manufacturing team.

. Architect the OWB environment with Oracle 10gR2 along with ASM and RAC.
