• Serve as staff nurse with exposures in medical ward, surgery ward, pediatric ward,
and emergency room, OPD, O.R., LR/DR and ICU.
• Admits patients, emergency and non-emergency according to hospital policy.
• Provide nursing care to medical, pediatric, surgical, ICU and OPD patients.
• Perform nursing procedures and worked in teams with allied health care providers.

individual conditions and needs.

CASE: A post-ICU 75 years old female patient who had aspiration pneumonia. The patient
was paralyzed due to a spinal cord injury and had an indwelling supra pubic catheter. She was
diagnosed with severe depression and Alzheimer’s disease. She also suffered from
hypothyroidism, anemia, unstable blood pressure, sleeping problems and have history of
seizure attacks.
• Served as a private duty nurse as per relative’s request in coordination with the
management.
• Perform vital signs monitoring and proper documentation on client’s progress notes.
• Provide personal hygiene and holistic nursing care.
• Give medications as ordered by her medical doctors and dietitian.
• Accompany patient during clinic visit and weekly physical therapy session
• Provide supra pubic catheter care, NGT care and bed sore care and prevention.
• Coordinate laboratory work-ups and report results to her medical doctors.
• Promptly reports patient’s progress and abnormal findings to her medical doctors and
updates them with regards to patient’s condition.
• Applies independent emergency measures to counteract adverse development and
notifies her medical doctors immediately.
• Prevents infection.
