Maker (OMM) team 2012 –
2013
Managed the development of high profile projects for trading application providing state-of-the-art
new system to change the entire company’s use case solution, user experience and the process for
doing business.
Managing the development of a mission critical business operations, trade reconciliation system
(TRS).
As the leader and owner of the above my main achievements were:
Ÿ Worked along with the traders to define and collect the requirements for the new trading
system as a result created well defined detailed design plan that fits the new approach.
Ÿ Led and guided teams of developers, QA and release build personnel (FT/Consultant) and
met every aggressive deadline set by the business.
Ÿ Executed agile development process to deliver the new application to production. As a
result business had the opportunity to evaluate the product very early in the development
cycle and give constructive feedback.
Ÿ Worked along with the business owner to identify and execute the process of trade
reconciliation system.
Ÿ Worked with Citi compliance team to identify a proper SDLC process for TRS and
successfully implemented it and met “segregation of duty” goal.
Senior Vice President - Senior Team Leader Option Market Maker (OMM) team
2006 – 2011
As senior development groups leader I managed the development of few groups within OMM team.
I had under my responsibility 12 software developers, the team designing, developing and deploying
software solutions for to get the business going. My main accomplishments were:
• Designed and implemented all software, connecting Option Market Maker system to
external options exchanges, met all mandatory changes and 99.99 uptime to all the
exchanges.
• Conducted direct relationships with external option exchange technology groups and got
better support from them.
• Was partner with architect to design and implement the long-term technical roadmap for
exchange connectivity, as a result improved the implementation to handle external system
failures (alerting, failover, pullback, etc).
• Assured quality standards were met – defined and enforced coding, testing and
documentation standards for team, decreased bugs rate 50%.
• Supported, enhanced and improved the current applications and met users and market
requirements.
• Designed the next generation for the UI, state-of-the-art GUI framework that will change
the way our traders conduct business.
Vice President - Senior Manager QA and Build Team 2005 – 2006
As the manager of a group of 9 technologists, my main concerns were to manage all quality
analysts, build and release managers for the Option Market Maker system.
In this role I:
• Defined and implemented process improvements to the QA space. Created appropriate test
strategies and plans for software implementations. As a result I reduced the testing cycles
by 50%.
• Defined and successfully executed software configuration of all testing labs –
development, integration and QA. This allowed developers to switch between testing labs
by one click and increased their productivity.
• Partnered with development managers to ensure test cases provided appropriate black and
glass box coverage. Automated and performed regular regression, performance and stress
testing of the environment. Minimized the number and impact of defects in the production
system.
KNIGHT TRADING GROUP, NY 2000 – 2004

As a hands on manager of a group of 2 GUI developers I :
• Designed and implemented mission-critical front-end Equities/Fixed Income derivative
market maker trading applications built on the Microsoft Windows/C#.NET platform and
Java platform.
• Supported. enhanced and improved Java GUI application as well as C# user interface.
• Collaborated with QA manager to ensure appropriate regression, functionality & stress
testing is performed.
Senior GUI programmer 2000 – 2002
Lead developer of GUI for option market maker trading application using Java (swing), JNI and C+
+ for Windows/NT.
Designed/developed UI providing an interactive/intuitive platform that serves as the central
workspace for all trading activities utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to maximize performance,
ease of use, flexibility and scalability;
