About the Project: The UKB programme has been launched to create

both a Self-Serve approach ad Agent based

solution for customers. It will involve the

re-engineering of the User Interface and

orchestration of messaging through the solution

stack to provide an improved Customer Experience.

About the Project: As of now Fault Reception is Manual. The CPs

login into the eCoRepair Web page and answer all

the structured questions. Next, alarm check is

run and the KMT results are shown to the user

saying whether the fault is a BT Fault or a non

BT Fault. The user then decides whether he has to

raise a fault on CAMSS or not. As this is manual

process it takes a lot of time.

Now the CP (user) wants this Fault Reporting

Mechanism to be Automated i.e. the user wants to

place 20C Private Circuit faults through the CP

system with BTW, using XML transactions. This xml

will contain the structured questions and

mandatory parameters. Once the validations are

done (Asset check, CP authorization and

authentication, circuit validation, structured

and mandatory parameters check), then the fault

is raised in CAMSS and the CP is informed about

it with the Fault Ticket Number.

About the Project: WES-BES IVVT project handles Integrated

Verification Validation and Testing for British

Telecommunication's WES-BES products. It is a

part of Openreach. The main goal of this project

is to check for the EOI compliance.

T2R (Trouble to Resolve):- It follows on from the

Concept to Market (C2M). It is also known as

Service Assurance within BT and covers

after-sales support activities on networking and

telecommunications products within BT.

As a part of TSR, the Ofcom has laid down certain

regulations to ensure Equivalence of Input to all

the customers who approach BT for its services.

To comply with the Telecoms Strategic Review

undertakings given to OFCOM, there has been

certain changes made in the process by which

services related to Ethernet/IPVPN/SHDS products

will be provided to BT customers.

The Project has two main modules:

RFS (Ready for Service): The products must use

EoI compliant processes for New Provides of all

customers (new and existing).

IBMC (Installed base Migration Complete): EoI

processes must be applied to all order types for

all customers; after the migration of the

installed base to the EOI product would be

completed.
