I am currently working for a mechanical design and engineering group. I

help make new product designs that are easily manufactured and have a high

level of robustness. I am responsible to over see new tooling programs. I

review and approve tool designs for injection mold tooling. When necessary

I help resolve injection molding manufacturing problems. When required I

can establish the injection molding process set up. I have done molding

development in Europe and China. I am very familiar with the plastics

industry in Germany. I routinely get involve with the inspection and the

qualification process to get a plastic component to print dimensions. I

interface with all internal manufacturing, purchasing and quality

departments to help facilitate the PPAP process. About 25 or more percent

of my time is traveling to internal or external manufacturing sites.

Automotive and Parts Mfg

Responsible for developing new products with Mayco customers. Design

projects are completed at customer sites, in-house or at contract

engineering sites. Some projects/products have required material and

process development. My participation includes design, engineering,

prototype tooling, production tooling, check fixtures, sub suppliers, the

PPAP process. I have also worked in customer contact and coordination with

the customer quality, assembly plants and purchasing. In the last 3 years I

have focused on injection molding process development. In addition I have

worked on scrap reduction for injection molding and a 2K robotic paint
