EXPERIENCE
Laser and Optics Lab Research Assistant Swarthmore College, 05/2011 - 08/2011
• Worked closely with Dr. Lynne Molter on the research team to investigate the use of fringe projection from single-core
optical fibers for 3-D phase profilometry.
• Carried out experiments that revealed the deficieniesof cheaper single-core fibers in creating reliable diffraction patterns
in comparison to multi-core fibers.
• Implemented hardware and software testing using oscilloscope, high-power laser and MATLAB.
Senior Design Project Swarthmore College, 09/2012 - 05/2013
• Built a red-green-blue LED array on a PCB where 48 LED’s can be controlled individually.
• Designed and implemented data transmission and display timing through a MY9268 LED driver chip.
• Hand-soldered and assembled PCB board.
• Implemented C software on chips using Code Composer.
Engineering Teaching Assistant Swarthmore College, 01/2012 - 06/2013
• Tutored Swarthmore engineering students in Experimentation for Engineering Design and in Electrial Circuit Analysis.
• Lead students with understanding weekly problem sets and preparing for exams.
Engineering Grader Swarthmore College, 01/2011 - 06/2013
• Graded weekly assignments for Linear Physical Systems Analysis and Fundamentals of Digital Systems
