Project: Data Migration.

This project involves development and maintenance of the RL Admin

Application which helps the Ralph Lauren users to view, update and edit

details pertaining to various stores that are already present and also for

new stores that will be opened in various locations. This offers a one stop

location where the logged in user can view data related to each and every

store and make modifications as required and also send for approvals for

the updates. The upgrade of the application requires data to be migrated

from old system to new system. The migration process includes requirement

gathering, data analysis, data cleansing and processing of complex data

structure to be implemented into new application.

Responsibilities:

. Involved in design, development and testing phases of project.

. Involved in architectural meetings. Created Architecture diagrams, and

Flow Charts using Microsoft Visio.

. Participated in the data model as to the relationship with the

application.

. Sole responsibility of entire data migration project.

. Handling of data using Excel.

. Created SSIS packages to clean and load data to data warehouse.

. Created SSIS Packages using Pivot Transformation, Fuzzy lookup,

Derived Columns, Condition Split, Term extraction, Aggregate, Execute

SQL Task, Data Flow Task, Execute Package Task etc. to generate

underlying data for the reports and to export cleaned data from Excel

includes different level of security and access parameters because of

confidential data.

Responsibilities:

. Involved in design, development and testing phases of project.

. Involved in meetings with HR's across the organization to understand

the requirement and discuss the strategy. Created procedure to check

some of the rules at the backend at the time of entering data.

. Created Design document, test cases, database structures, tables,

views, stored procedures and server setups.

. Involved in coding & testing of the application using visual basic in

Visual Studio .NET 2008.

. Created batch jobs which will alert the HR's based on specific

condition.

. Involved in creation of high security layer in the application to safe

guard the confidential data of the Company as well as its Employees.

March 2009 to June 2011.

Project: MEISLBSF.

This project involves maintenance and reporting of clients applications.

Budget for each store is estimated, based on this the labor is generated.

Labor is allotted to each store on weekly bases. Employee timings are

captured to determine the pay and to improve forecasting. Reports are also

generated for the required area for business analysis.

Responsibilities:

. Involved in requirement analysis, detailed design, low level design, test

activities in COBOL, CICS and DB2.

. Primary contact person for Labor Scheduling and monitoring the job

system.

. Managing Remedy tickets, scheduling and tracking it to closure.
