I was working as a programmer responsible for the maintenance of a crude oil
tracking and inventory control system for a small, independent oil refinery with
facilities in various Western states. I was formerly responsible for the creation of
Discoverer reports based on information contained in the Datastream application. I
am conversant with the structure of Datastream, and the administration of same. I
am also familiar with the support of the Hyperion application which is a financial and
accounting forecasting and reporting tool. Have also received training in Oracle
database administration, although the Oracle software has since been removed
from our system configuration. I was learning SAP Web Dynpro Java and SAP
ABAP programming as a precursor to continuing development efforts within that
environment.

Major Projects: Designed and developed a new Service request tracking

Most experience in programming has been with COBOL, JCL, and MVS systems. I am
also proficient in MicroFocus COBOL, and worked in a microcomputer environment for
10 years. My most recent experience has been with 4C, a 4GL derivative of C, in an
AIX/Windows environment, using systems running on an RS6000. Recently, I have
also had exposure to writing and maintaining programs in 4C for a Windows (XP)
environment. I have also had experience in using PL/SQL with an Oracle database,
and have had exposure to the administration and maintenance of both Datastream and
Hyperion applications used for analytics and report writing. I was also being trained up
in programming using the SAP ABAP language.
