Solely responsible for creating and managing organization charts for Clinical Practices, Programs and Patient Care Centers;
work closely with the Associate Director of the Medical Center and members of senior management to ensure all appropriate
individuals and departments are represented accurately.
Managed the Summer Internship Program for 2010; sourced, screened, and partnered with managers in the hiring of 20
students based on specific requirements. Served as the primary liaison between students and managers during the program.
Currently in charge of processing Without Compensation (WOC) employees for entire facility; coordinate pre-employment
physicals, fingerprints, background investigations, verification of education, administer Office of Inspector General (OIG) &
Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank (HIPDB) reports on applicants, and the HR processing of new employees.
Responsible for inputting new employees, WOCs, & contractors into the VA’s HRIS system (Vista System), which initiates
computer access and the creation of e-mail address account with IRM department.
Manage and update Human Resource Microsoft Access Databases on a weekly basis to ensure that members of the Human
Resource Department can access critical data.
Ensure that physicians, registered nurses, registered psychiatrists, etc. have access in VA VistA System to write prescriptions
