• Managed a staff of 35 employees, facilitate training and staff development, and
oversee hiring, the appointment schedule, the payroll budget, and data collection.
• Communicated with faculty across the University on behalf of the Writing Center,
work closely with other academic support services such as the Office of Multicultural
Student Affairs, the Early Academic Intervention Committee, and the Center for
Academic Resources, and Disability Services.

• Initiated pilot program to assist graduate students seeking help with dissertation and
thesis writing by distilling current literature into guide for writing assistants.
O utreach Coordinator
• Managed all outreach and branding efforts on behalf of the Center to the larger
University including social media, outreach videos, cross-curriculum conversations,
meetings with professors, and presentations to groups as large as 500.

• Directed a nationally funded research study focused on the effects of stress for caregivers of
loved ones with neurodegenerative disorders, primarily Alzheimer’s disease.

analysis and recruitment and screening of all participants.
• Consented and educated research subjects with regards to their procedures and HIPAA
