Electrical Technician

Good afternoon.

My name is Patrick Cagnola I’m an electrical instructor at HSC electrical training school here in

Houston Texas. I have several Graduates who are honest, reliable, drug free and ready for

employment

The Electrical Technician training we offer is an intensive 180 hour program designed to teach

students the basic technical skills, abilities, and work habits required to pursue an entry-level

position as an Electrical Technician. Graduates of this program will be able to apply the

concepts of electrical theory as well as technical skills developed in adherence with the safe

practice of standards as set forth by OSHA and the NEC. The students will be trained in pipe

bending: stub-ups, offsets, 30 degree, 45 degree, 3 point saddles, etc. Students are also trained in

conduit installations, wire pulling, and wire terminations. The type of wire terminations the

students are trained on are: single pole, 3 and 4 way switches, GFCI, fans, lighting, etc.

Upon completion of the course, students will have obtained their apprentice license and most

will also have a TWIC card. Our instructors are Master Electricians and have been working in

the field for more than 25 years. Our training consists of 80% hands-on in our 15,000 sq. ft. lab

and 20% classroom time. As part of our program, our students receive there own tools
