Project's Profile

Visual Eye

Visual Eye is a web application, used for graphical presentation of

information, with the goal of providing the viewer with a qualitative

understanding of the information contents. Visual Eye has the option to

import text, csv, excel, database and many data source types, these

information will be saved in the database. Stored information can be viewed

and pushed to widgets as JSON format for visualization. Visual Eye has the

options to export the visualization as PDF or Image.

Environment : J2EE, Spring 3.1, Hibernate, JavaScript, Tomcat, MySQL,

Role : Associate

Period : November 2012 to Till Date

Responsibilities :

. Developed web application based on Spring MVC framework and Created

Hibernate API layered architecture (Data Access layer and Service layer)

for application to interact with database.

. Implemented authentication & authorization using Spring Security and

involved in deployment of application on the Server.

. Involved in writing unit tests throughout the life cycle of the project

and deployment of the application into Server.

I-Banking Fund Transfer (IBFT)

Consumer banking customers use IBFT to transfer funds to beneficiary in

other country. IBFT does all validation/processing of transaction then

sends the payment for account posting in a single entry (debit and credit

details) without involving any suspense account. IBFT capture the response

from the back office and update the necessary details and send the response

to the system.

Responsibilities :

. Effectively developed and managed modules using MVC Frame work &

. Worked on configuring new Queues and as on need, change the configuration

of existing queues.

High Availability (HA)

Due to increased volume of transactions & no of countries, the critical

application (24 x 7) cannot afford to be off-line for even a small period

of time. Application Clusters are implemented and running in all the three

servers for making a resource available all the time or reducing the

downtime of the resource. This load balancing (scalability) increased

application performance and a greater number of users that can be

supported.

Straight Through Services - Standard Chartered Bank

STS application is a proprietary electronic payment solution, offered by

Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), for corporate customers to create their

payment instructions. STS is implemented in 28 countries; customers can

initiate multiple payment types in multiple currencies. This single

platform solution improves in customer's accounts payable process by

consolidating multiple transaction types destined for multiple countries,

reducing paper work, streaming approval and enhancing security and control.
