PROJECT DETAILS Operations Specialist in our company for managing the whole

Hertz's Applications and Server Support. Once received

ticket or call from Operations Monitoring and We providing

support for IBM FAX, Data Protector and Console and Batch

monitoring for AS400, MPE and TANDAM Servers, Unix Servers,

and trouble shoot the L2 level task.

Duties & Activities - Involved in:

Console and Batch monitoring for AS400, MPE and TANDAM

Servers.

Backup monitoring for Data Protector and also Starting

manual backups.

Taking Daily, weekly and Pre-monthly and Monthly backup for

ALPHA System and also in Unix servers.Moving data traffic

from the servers to another server.

Give file access permissons to DB admins.

Running the requestor jobs in TANDAM Servers and also

trouble shoot for the job abends by analyzing the JCL code

in the job.

Reassigning the issues to predefined groups for different

Servers and Application.

Regular health checks and Jobs status for AS400, MPE and

TANDAM Servers.

Reconfiguring the network connection on servers when

problem. Recycling the application on traffic over flow.

Role : Work as an Level 2 Production support. Where L1

operations contact as through phone or by ticket for the

issue. We have control on all the jobs execute in HP3000

server. We handle all task related to HP3000 as a

production Support. We work on jobs if get failed by

modifying and rerunning the jobs. Taking system down at

backup and emergency time and engaging all other support

teams. Taking system up after outage done.

websites, which includes British petroleum

'Lubricants','Castrol', 'LPG' sites. Products and creating

a single Website for all countries where BP is spread over

with different languages too. The project also includes

two rounds of Testing,which includes testing the whole

website step by step. Collation of content from 200

platforms and deploying it on to a single platform.

ROLE Quality Assurance using the guidelines provided by the

client.

Testing and fixing of bugs.

Content migration using Teamsite Execution of test cases

Regression Testing Bug Reports using Elementool(Bug tracker

tool).

designed and maintained by using CICS and DB2. The data in

all tables are modified by using Function keys. When the

Transaction tables are modified the relevant master tables

should be updated by using Triggers. Reports are generated

by using embedded SQL.
