Summary

Strategic Innovation Resources for Technology Advancement (SIRTA), is a Information Technology consulting

company that has developed the Civilian Infrastrcture Monitoring System (CIMS). CIMS remotely monitors

major cracks in structures that has been identified by inspectors as a potential problem. CIMS collects and

transmits both crack displacement measurements as well as images of the crack from the inspection location

back to a central server for visual inspection by local engineers. The CIMS system saves both time and money

for potential clients in that engineers do not have to be physically on site anymore to inspect major cracks. The

collected information can now be viewed through a regular web browser from any location 24x7. CIMS has the
