Objective :
Develop unique game changing technologies in the energy storage and energy harvesting arena. Design tests
for profiling new chemistries and materials for Li ion Primary and secondary batteries, Thin Film, NiFe (Edison
Battery) SOFC, PEM, ultracapacitors and their methods of fabricating them economically. Bring the efficiency
of these technologies up while driving the manufacturing costs down.
Personal Profile:
Awarded a Commendation from U.S. Congress for my research in energy storage.
Have several Patents in material science, electrochemistry and electronics.
Member of Ben Franklin Technology Group, IEEE and PA Nanotechnology board member
Board Member of Security Fusion
Involved in Micro Grid design and construction, EV energy transmission via the marriage of the battery
and ultracap
Experimented in new ways to store hydrogen and methods of gene rating it via VPM. (Patent Pending)
Investigated Silicon anodes with Rice U and Drexel U different mixed oxide and in the Ultracap. and
studied different ways to limit their rate expansion that creates a large irreversible loss. Graphene
made by Drexel U. Materials still under test.
Design of both prismatic small and large format cells, coating methods and characterizing electrode
formulations. Familiar with Gamry, MACCOR, ARBIN, Solartron.
Testing all separator suppliers performance . Studied porosity effect in creating dendrites.
Design Electrochemical testing of electrodes in EIS, Cyclic Voltametry and other impedance tests.
Design and construct Coin cells and Prismatic cells for specific applications.
Experienced with SOFC and PEM fuel cells and hydrogen storage
Assisted in writing SBIR’s, BAA,s and RFQ,s.
Code in C, JAVA and some Python
Investigated different Graphenes for use in Ultracapacitors .

Personal
I Multi task especially coming from a small company.
I am a scientist/inventor and heavily in the Green movement.
I am considered by many to be a Hybrid researcher because of being an EE with
a lot of materials experience and organic chemistry. I have strong math skills and
am EXCEL proficiency. I am not a forty hour person. I put in at home because I love what I do.
