Career Overview

Client Name - American Public University, Charles Town, WV
Wrote and managed IT project plan for large data conversion initiative
to assist client with migration from a legacy Financial Aid Management
System to a new system. I was responsible for developing the software
necessary to convert the data from the old format to the new format.
One of the algorithms developed allowed the customer to correct data
input errors prior to uploading into the system which saved an
estimated $130K in staff salaries that would have been necessary to
perform manual corrections. Developed database loading programs and
custom SQL scripts to load data necessary for accomplishing a
financial reconciliation after conversion was complete.
