Description:

Global Integrated Order Manager is an AT&T product which gathers orders for

AT&T's Business Service Customers like Nodal Voice, Switch Voice, Local

Voice, Calling cards, Data-PL/FR/ATM/AVPN. It has a single Shopping Cart to

manage the integration of the ordering process across services. It performs

edits to insure on time delivery of the service, a perfect bill, automate

interfaces to legacy systems, to streamline the people process via

automation, eliminate re-typing via defaults and by obtaining data from

upstream and downstream systems.

The Order Manager application consists of a web-based application that

consists of a series of web pages. It consists of Client/User interface,

Server, Database and Interface to the downstream systems. The application

is web-based user friendly software application for cross servicing

ordering of AT & T Voice & Data Services. Using this Voice and Data

Customers can Provision, Modify, Cease and track the end-to-end status of

an existing order and run various reports.

AT&T's VPLS service called OPT-E-WAN, will enable businesses to link

multiple locations - whether across town or around the world with all the

ease and efficiency of a point-to-point Ethernet connection."OPT-E-WAN will

provide users with a new level of choices for establishing virtual LAN or

WAN connections, unlike other services such as traditional Frame Relay

that typically limit users to point-to-point connections.

Responsibilities:

. Participate in the requirement reviews for each project conducted by

the SE team and to identify the issues with the requirement documents

if any.

. Responsible for designing and development of Test Plan according to

the Functional and System Requirement document.

. Participate in screen design review sessions with the development

teams and provide valuable suggestions

. Preparing the high level scenarios for System Testing in an excel

sheet first keeping in mind all the GUI level, interface level,

positive and negative test cases.

. Conduct Test Case design reviews with SE and developers to find out

any gaps and baseline the test cases for further execution.

. Upload the Test cases in the Test Management Tool and map the cases to

the requirements in the tool.

. Prepare the test environment for the project like Testing server,

database verification and interface application status if required.

. Perform execution of Test cases and effectively work on preparation

and execution of regression test cases.

. Analyzes test results and provides progress reports to management.

. Report any bugs found out during system testing in the Rational Clear

Quest tool and to track the defect until the defect is fixed by the

developer and the issue is closed after retesting.

. Worked closely with developers to isolate and understand problems and

issues.

. Investigate each defect by checking logs in putty, querying using

Toad, by referring to the requirement documents whenever necessary.

. Support other interfacing applications when the JST (Joint System

Testing) and IST (Integration System Testing) begins. Used Quality

Center for logging the defects and tracking the status of the defects

till resolution.

. Provide UAT demo for the project completed after System testing.

. Support during User Acceptance Testing, track each UAT issue using HP

Mercury Quality Center tool and to investigate the UAT issues.

Oversees the development of quality standards for quality assurance

testing.

. Involved in production support during project release for the

successful deployment of the project.

. Report status of Testing phase on a daily basis to Test Manager and

upload all the necessary documents in Quikr for Test management.

. Used Automation tool Quick Test Pro (QTP) for generating the scripts

for regression testing

. Inserted verification checkpoints, synchronization points, and

parameterized data using Quick Test Professional.

. Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements,

design, software, and related documentation.

. Performed Creation and updating QTP scripts based on manual test cases

for regression using existing framework.

. Automated Test scenarios for GUI Functionality, Regression testing

using Quick Test Pro

. Developed automation scripts and reusable functions/procedures using
