Responsible of the accuracy, accountability, and precision in all process relating to all import / export goods in transit through the foreign trade Zone of Miami.

• Trained in Customs and Border Protection documentation procedures and requirements as they pertain to the Foreign Trade Zone and Bonded Warehouses transactions as well as the Electronic filling of different CBP forms

• Inventory control, reconciliation and review of US Customs documentation to ensure compliance with Codes of Federal Regulations title 19 as stated in part 146 (Foreign Trade Zones), part 18 (carriers) and part 149 (handling transportation of dangerous goods)

• Classification of different goods using the Harmonized Schedule Tariff of the United States (HSTUS) book.

Responsible for all transaction related to the operations of the company. Ensure a synergy between the different departments for the final corporate reporting.

• Establish operational procedures to verify incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Ensure shipments are received into inventory or ship timely.

• Maintain procedures and ensure full compliance of the regulations governing the movement of goods.

• Provide regular reporting to senior management on logistics issues and interface with Corporate Customs & Logistics to address U.S. Customs issues.

• Participate with logistics sourcing teams in the development of customer’s shipping import/export requirements, and provide pricing quotations for the transportation of goods in response to proposals for future international business opportunities.

• Monitor and track the global movement of goods based on customer contractual requirements to verify order fulfillment.

• Complete and maintain all record keeping of domestic and international transportation documentation for export/import

• Develop controls to limit access to the shipping area and dock and ensure the integrity of all packages received into and shipped out of the warehouse.

• Maintain a safe working environment in the shipping/receiving area.

• Work with the Trade Compliance Manager to apply the rules and regulations of U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP), International Traffic in Arms (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), among others.

• Monitor the return of temporary import and export activity in support of DSP-61 & DSP-73 licenses, ATA Carnets, or license exemptions.

• Prepare export documentation (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) to meet export documentation requirements.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Speak, read, and write fluently in both Spanish and English.

Computer literate in Microsoft excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point.
