Developed highly sophisticated algorithms for semiconductor design performance benchmarking and

planning through data mining and statistical analyses; and led testing and implementation of algorithms.

Developed NMS’ proprietary IC (integrated circuit) design complexity normalization algorithm, which

enabled the first IC design productivity benchmarking in the semiconductor industry. Managed software

engineers to implement and verify five generations of the algorithm.

Led field engineers and software engineers in preparing over 100 presentations to executives at more

than 30 leading semiconductor companies, showing clients their benchmarking and diagnostic results

that are critical for decision-making.

Architected and designed a comprehensive business case module to quantify expected lifetime volume

and profitability of IC projects and portfolios, incorporating market diffusion model, competitive market

share model, and cost models. The module has attracted wide usage in client companies.
