Accomplishments include the migration of 14 CICS version 3 regions to

assembler based running in a batch JES2 JCL and online CICS environments.
Accomplishments include migration to DB2 version 3 and QMF version 3 for
six subsystems. Also support Boole & Babbage monitor, Platinum products and
utilities, and Sybase server products which have been upgraded and
customized
to support environment.

CMF, DASD Advisor, GENTRAN, COBOL, COBOL II, MH-TRAN II, and
others.
Database management accomplishments include upgrading DB2 from release 2.1
to 2.2 and then later to 2.3.
CICS accomplishments include upgrading CICS from release 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 and
then later to 3.3.0.
Other accomplishments include implementation of a COBOL to COBOL II
migration strategy which included product evaluations and environmental
setup
for minimal impact and automation of conversion.

Accomplishments include rewriting a mini based retail management system
using DBASE III on a PC platform. Also participated in a two year project
with Andersen Consulting for the installation of MAC/PAC to replace all
applications which support the Lubricants and Specialty Products Division.
My primary role was all data conversion from PC, mini, and mainframe
platforms
and the development of COBOL I/O drivers for SQL access to DB2 from batch
JES3 JCL and online CICS environments.
