Collaborated with all members of the patient care team, including the patients and their families, to
optimize the patient’s quality of life after ventilator therapy. This often required multi-disciplined and
creative approaches to meet the needs and desires of the patient. One example: a patient who was
allowed to return home to Wyoming where he was off the ventilator during the day, but put himself on the
ventilator at night.
Rearranged treatment room equipment thereby increasing laboratory availability by 25%.
