Project # 1

• Project Title : Intelligent Irrigation Machine.

• Project Synopsis : The moisture content in the soil plays a major role in agriculture. In this

project the use of engineering mechanics and electrical circuits is used to sense the moisture

content of the soil with the help of "Intelligent Irrigation Machine." This machines senses the

moisture content in the soil and maintains the pre mentioned moisture in the soil and when

the moisture content is below the pre mentioned value, it automatically dispenses water. Thus

appropriate amount of water is dispenses where ever needed.

• Technology Tool: 3 wheel base frame, water storing container, solenoid valve and relay

circuits.

• Role: Project Information gathering.

Setting the circuit as required.

Setting the parts together.

Testing of the machine, once it was assembled.

Presenting final demonstration.

Documentation of the Project report.

Project Title : Hand Drilling Machine Assembly

Project Synopsis: Using Catia V5 R19 the project was completed with the dimensions from

a hand drilling machine was obtained by disassembling the machine and noting down the

dimensions. The parts were then modelled and assembled using CATIA V5 R19.

Project Title : Screw Jack Assembly and Disassembly

Project Synopsis: Using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 5.0 the project was completed with the

dimensions obtained from the machine design book with which the various parts were

modelled and then assembled and disassembled using Pro/E software.

• Presented a Paper on Micro Electro Mechanical Systems at "MECH I PRIX 12" a national

level students symposium at Bapuji Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Davangere,

Karnataka and at TORQUE 2013 organised by MESA, Goa Engineering College, Goa.

• Was a volunteer at Jashnn, an event conducted at REC Hulkoti.

• Took part in "LEAD PRAYANA 2012" a journey to unleash the leadership potential in youth

and was awarded as best leader for LEAD projects.

• Participated in Techno Vocals in a technical event Jashnn 2011 held at REC Hulkoti.

• Participated in Solid Edge 3D modeling in Praxis 2011 a 2 day National Level Technical Fest

held in KLE College of Engineering and Technology, Chikodi.
