Performs basic and routine electronic, mechanical and electrical assembly

operations on components or subassemblies. Assembles electronic components,

sub-assemblies and chassis. Follows prints and written instruction to

assemble Solar Power Inverters using hand tool, drills, torque wrenches and

soldering irons, Interface with Engineering redlining SolidEdge DWG's and

correcting BOM's. I have worked on Sub-assemblies, Disconnect Cabinets,

Mags Cabinets, Cooling Cabinets, Intergration and Final assembly.

for new construction, revising plant drawings, revising piping and

instrumentation prints, worked with engineers to create a Plant Passport in

Powerpoint, retrieving information from Word and Excel files.

August 1978 to September 2007

Worked 23 years on and off in Assembly, Field Service and as a Call Center

Tech. Supervised and performed installations of high-speed mail processing

equipment. Transferred to Siemens Government Services in Dec. 04 to assist

with technical support at a newly created Call Support Center for Homeland

Security (Transportation Security Administration). Assisted TSA in

troubleshooting on Explosive Trace Detection, Walk Through Metal Detectors

and X-Ray Machines, generated opened and issued work orders, interfaced

with TSA, Field Service and Management. I transferred from Field Service

where I installed, integrated, tested, performed preventive maintenance,

troubleshot mechanical and electrical problems, performed operator and

maintenance training on High Speed Mail Processing Equipment, and machine

acceptance from United States Postal Service.
